URINE DRUG TEST

More and more employers are enforcing a mandatory drug test as one of the final steps in their hiring process. The most common method of drug testing is the urine test. Most often your potential employer will send you to a doctor or lab where the test will be administered at no cost to you. It is a fairly simple and quick procedure. You just need to supply the specimen and you’re done. Once they have collected the specimen they may either use an instant drug test or send it out to be analyzed. This process can take up to a week to complete.

There are many people who enter drug-testing facilities with the intentions of using extraneous methods to pass these tests when they know they will not on their own. It isn’t uncommon to be monitored while providing the specimen or to be required to leave all your personal belongings with a nurse or lab employee before providing the specimen. If you are caught trying to alter the test results you run the risk of having this reported to your employer most likely leading to termination or no chance of being hired.
